For those who don't spend every moment reading about #Ethereum , here is a crash course on what is about to happen in the next 6-12 months…
I’m keeping the time frame tight and trying not to speculate too far into the future (maybe another thread).
Honest view on Defi. Defi is real. It’s nothing like ICO. But it’s a 10-20 year effort. Not 6 months. And currently it has all the classic signs of the early stage of a crypto hype cycle. People always underestimate how long it takes to build real shit.
Key narratives in crypto heading into Q4 2020:
- Post-halving trend, bitcoin hashrate still at ATH
- DeFi
- ETH 2.0
- Bitcoin Lightning With Visa
- Explosion of bitcoin options market
- Staking
- Institutional adoption (Grayscale primarily)
0/ Many people missed the DeFi rally YTD including a number of big funds.
Some are still sitting on the sidelines wondering if valuations are already too high.
My view: we are still early in the DeFi cycle and while valuations are no longer cheap, they are not exuberant either.
Almost everything is at ATH's on Ethereum 📈
