This is the 15th issue of the Token Valley dApp newsletter aiming to give updates on the latest news on decentralized applications (dApps) across various platforms (EOS, Ethereum, Tron, etc.). Let’s get right to it:

🤹 Tweets of the Week
💰 Market Review
Finally an interesting week! Everything’s been on a general uptrend, but EOS had an especially high jump of 11% today making it the winner of the week. TRON had some rough waters, but also appears to be on a road to recovery. Even Ethereum appears somewhat decoupled from Bitcoin, which surpassed a 70% crypto market dominance ranking as expected.
✨ Token Valley’s ‘Weekly Spotlight’
This week’s feature is Outlet , ‘The DeFi-Bank’
Outlet promises to simplify your crypto-financial life by allowing you to essentially merge your real bank account with the crypto world. Users can easily complete the KYC process and exchange their money for crypto without a fee. The UX is described as a ‘chrome extension for your bank account’. An added incentive is that by loaning out the money from your bank account via DeFi, you can earn up to 12% annualized interest at current rates.
When you transfer money from your bank to Outlet we turn it into a stable coin and lend those stable coins to the highest yielding lending protocol.
We encourage anyone to try this, of course with small amounts and at one’s own risk. If you do try it out, @ on on twitter and let the community know your thoughts!
🏦 Token Valley News
We put out an informative Medium article titled ‘Bitcoin or Altcoins: What should you invest in?’. It is aimed at giving beginners a basic understanding of the space, and was kindly written by guest author Julia Beyers.
We are looking to expand our weekly newsletter to feature a weekly podcast with regular guests, where we explore the various news and developments in the industry. If this is something you would like to be involved in or would like to share your thoughts about, email or tweet us (contact info below).
